Woody Fox graduated from Miami University, Ohio in 1976 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a major in both Accounting and Finance. He earned a minor in Economics. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1983.

Woody began his career working as the Controller for a large heating and air conditioning wholesaler from 1976 to 1981. He received his CPA license while working for a regional CPA firm from 1981 to 1983. From 1983 to 1987 Woody was Partner in a software development and consulting firm. In 1987 Woody became the general manager of the building products division of a publicly traded conglomerate. In 1988 Woody joined Robert Stephens to form Fox & Stephens, CPAs Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Woody is also the principle advisor at Fox Investing, which is a registered advisory firm (RIA). He received his Securities license in 1997.

Woody has served in the CalCPA Society Technology Committee since 2000 and as the Chairman of the Committee from 2010-2013. He serves on the Board of Trustees for San Antonio Community Hospital. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Upland Chamber of Commerce, Upland Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the Chaffey College Foundation Board, Upland High School All-Sports Foundation Board, Upland Foothill Kiwanis, Estate Planning Council of the Pomona Valley and the Mountain View Homeowners Board of Directors.
