Woody Fox

Woody Fox is the Founding Partner of Fox & Stephens, CPAs, Inc. and a Principal Advisor with Fox & Holland Investing LLC. Since co-founding Fox & Stephens in 1988, Woody has helped generations of individuals, families, and business owners navigate complex tax, investment, and financial decisions with confidence.

Over the course of a career spanning nearly five decades, Woody has earned a reputation for combining technical expertise with practical business judgment. His areas of focus include personal and corporate taxation, business consulting, investment management, and financial planning. Clients value his ability to simplify complex financial matters while providing thoughtful, long-term guidance tailored to their unique circumstances.

Before establishing Fox & Stephens, Woody held leadership positions in both public accounting and private industry. He served as a corporate controller, a partner in a software development and consulting firm, and the general manager of a building products division for a publicly traded company. This diverse executive and entrepreneurial background continues to inform his practical, business-oriented approach to advising clients.

In 1997, Woody expanded his practice to include investment advisory services, creating the foundation for what ultimately became Fox & Holland Investing LLC. His integrated perspective on tax strategy, business planning, and investment management has helped clients preserve and grow wealth across multiple generations.

Woody earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with majors in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Economics.

A strong believer in professional leadership and community involvement, Woody has served in numerous civic and professional organizations throughout his career. His service has included the Board of Trustees for San Antonio Community Hospital, the CalCPA Technology Committee—where he served as chairman from 2010 through 2013—the Chaffey College Foundation Board, the Estate Planning Council of the Pomona Valley, and several other nonprofit and community organizations throughout the Inland Empire.
